You are shown an ancient root word. Hidden between it and the modern English word it became are the forms it passed through: Latin, Old French, Middle English. Drag the missing words into place. When the last word lands, the chain reveals itself.

One chain at a time, escalating in difficulty. One wrong answer ends your run. Your score is how many chains you complete.
